I am a planner and I prefer to plan quarterly and annually. I was dismayed to learn about the contest today as I just published a knowledge base article about special characters in titles and links. This hub would have I feel qualified for the contest.
I do this part-time even though I am retired so planning is very critical for my time management.
Is there a schedule where I can plan out my hubs over the next year and save the hubs I have pending for the contest submission?
This contest was announced almost a week before the end of January (i.e., about five weeks ago), so that Hubbers could prepare ahead of time. There have been numerous forum threads about it, especially in the last two weeks.
Most of the contests that I have seen here have had similar patterns - a major announcement, including the rules and rewards, at least a full month before the contest begins.
