Do hubpage Ebay affiliates earn money on clicks?  Or just sales?  Can ebay banners be added?

You do earn some cents on clicks, but not much.

      Ebay banners cannot be added.

      I hope this helps!

As far as I know you only get paid when someone clicks your link and then buys a product.  So, if they click your link, bid on a product and then don't win... you don't get a commission.  But if they click your link, bid and win or use the buy it now feature then you do get a commission.

I haven't used eBay on here for a while, because of the winning/losing the auction part, so it might have changed... but I've never heard of them paying you for just a click.

And no you can't use banners on here because you can't post all of the html to make it a clickable banner.

Hi, sorry Bendo but that is not correct.  You get paid per click.  The amount per click depends on how many items sell through your clicks.

In other words if you have a 100 clicks and no sales, you PPC will be very low, maybe even 0.  Whereas if you have 100 clicks and sell 50 items, it will be substancially higher.

i have been using eBay for a few months now and have been happy with the returns.

So you're saying that you get paid both for clicks and sales?  Not just sales?

No - just clicks.  Sales will increase the value of clicks for a while, but we don't earn an actual commission on sales.

So is it worth signing up for this?  I get the impression you earn very little.  I guess Hubpages gets the commission then?

I have made quite a lot of eBay.  In the run up to Christmas especially, I would say it is well worth signing up for.

So essentially you do not get the commission if you choose to do the ebay ad program. Let me try to summarizes to see if I can get this clear. If I sign up for the ebay ad program, I only get paid per click through my ebay capsule. The amount I get pay per click depend on the number of conversion between clicks and sales. But if I choose not to do the ebay ad program, I will get a commission for the sale but will not get pay for the click. Just wondering if what I had say is correct.

I'm confused?  I thought we couldn't display ads or banners?  Just the ebay modules.

I can't understand you you would expect to get paid a commission for an ebay sale.  Who would pay it?

If you are already an eBay affiliate, eBay will pay.  Your earnings will be the same plan offered by HP - pay for clicks, not commission.

I am happy for those that are making money using the eBay module, however my earnings for 2 months or so is like .15, lol.  I always make sure I am displaying related material.  Maybe this will change for me in the future.  I see no harm in having them there as every penny ads up into dollars at some point.
