This thread is for innocuous, cheerful, entertaining, humorous, and interesting posts only. It is an escape from some of the other threads...
Any time I think of something worthy, I'll post it here. I hope others do the same.
Inane posts are also welcome here. In fact, I'll start with one:
Be prepared for a long weekend, i.e., http://news.yahoo.com/wait-earth-adds-l … nance.html
I intend to use the extra time to make it a productive, yet peaceful, weekend.
Urinating Standing Up May Soon Be Illegal in Europe: Approve?
Socialists and feminists in Europe want to force equality by outlawing men from urinating while standing up. The Leftists suggest that forcing uniformity also has medical benefits with cleaner floors without puddles of urine. On the other hand, dirty toilet seats, increase of water usage for flushing and other factors may make "sitting only bathrooms" less healthy for humans and the environment.

I will fight to the death my civil right to write my name in the snow.
So would I. However, it would take considerably more skill on my part, and I'm not willing to bare my behind in the cold that long.
And, according to the news, definitely don't try it in New York City these days...

ha ha ha....that's interesting news!...thanks for the chuckle...those poor European men....guess there's not much else to pick on men about!
If I was in the right frame of mind, and me and 3 buddies came across this, we would pick that dinky little thing up and put it on top of whatever that structure is against the wall to the left. Let the owner deal with that...
You found my car! I wondered where I parked it last night!
Just when you thought Mumbai couldn't get any more hectic, someone comes along and leaves a Boeing 737 sitting in the middle of a busy road. BBC reports, "The decommissioned aircraft was being driven through the city at the weekend when the driver got lost and then abandoned the plane."
http://www.gadling.com/2007/05/03/boein … mbai-road/
Does anyone know how to park these days.
That's no Boeing 737! That's the Hubmobile! HP has been looking for it for months!
And apparently staff has been inside all along!
.
You are right.

They just came out...

Paul is not impressed with your hubs.

HA! Paul told me this personally on the forums!
Vancouver restaurant selling $100 hot dog
VANCOUVER – Vancouver, known for its bustling street food scene, will also soon be known as home to the “most expensive hot dog in the world” – a $100 cognac-infused sausage topped with oil-seared Kobe beef, lobster meat and a picante sauce.
“When you come up with a $100 hot dog, you’ve got to have a good idea,” said DougieDog owner Dougie Luv of the Dragon Dog.
The foot-long bratwurst is infused with 100-year-old Louis XIII cognac – which has a $2,000 price tag of its own – and must be ordered 12 hours in advance so fresh ingredients can be prepped.

.
This probably won't sell.
People already get the $100 weenie all the time.
It's called the monthly cable company bill.
I just hope HP took the pics in the spirit in which they were intended.
That pic should be automatically included in the OP of every political and religion thread so that people can copy and use it as needed.
Thanks. May it continue tomorrow. Depends on whether any interesting news items happen.
Girl Who Can Start Fire With Her Brain Mystifies Scientists
Many think this young girl has supernatural abilities and scientists are puzzled by what she has accomplished so far.
She is now being called a global scientific phenomenon.
According to the family, their 11-year-old daughter has a bizarre ability to set things aflame by just being near them.
Her father tells it all started about a month ago when the family home’s electrical network suffered several short circuits, about a month ago. Electricians were called to fix the short circuit but could not find the cause behind the power failures.

"Cops say naked carjacker went on wild spree in Arizona"
http://now.msn.com/now/0630-naked-carjacker
Well, folks. It really looks like I'm doomed.
But I sure as hell don't feel sorry for myself.
In addition to the previous Arizona-incident post, there is this: "Violent storms in eastern US leave 3 million without power in sweltering heat; 13 killed" at http://news.yahoo.com/violent-storms-ea … 23003.html
And the ambulance just pulled up at my neighbor's house across the street.
The ambulance taking her away is what triggered this post. Last straw sort of thing...
And since HP tossed my brilliant thread into the sandpit, I'm done with it.
If HP hadn't tossed this thread into the sandpit, I wouldn't have made these last four posts and would have kept the thread going as it was. Moving on...

Ok... enough is enough. We hate the arbitrary hubber score. It is a phantom's judgement of us and the Q and A section does not give a clear cut way to effectively appease the phantom.Until you can give us an exact science (i.e. the way capitals and punctuation are used), it is not fair to stamp a...

Aaaakkk! I have been so sick for 2 weeks and I am so behind on all my writing projects! I have articles due for clients next week, I have not published a hub in almost 2 weeks and forget my fiction. Anyway-- I will be here all weekend. I will have the house to myself so I am going to chow down on...

I just happened to be viewing one of my hubs that has been deemed a sleeper, and I noticed that the Amazon and Ebay advertisements in the capsules displayed on the hub has been increased in size. This alarms me, as I have many hubs with various text capsules with these capsules within that...
