Can The Concept of the Soul Be Scientifically Explained?

Possibly, by weighing a person before and after death. Say somebody is dying, you weigh them in their last moments and if their mass decreases after death then clearly their soul has left them.

Well, the word 'soul' means "to be alive" or "vital breath". And the word 'spirit' is actually just a synonym for air (most people are unaware of that).

The spirit/air is what keeps things alive. The ancients understood this, but they did not know what air was back then.

It can be explained and seen plainly with a little common sense.  The body, made of dead elements and matter, is energized by a "life spark."  When this energy leaves the body, the body "dies" (reverts back to inert matter.)  This energy cannot be created or destroyed, but can only change form (first law of thermodynamics / conservation of energy.)  When the body dies, the life spark / energy lives on.

Scientifically there is no concept of soul. science just say that molecules, cells, tissues etc reorganise to form a living identity. whent these components stop being in harmony, organism dies.

A soul does not exist in reality. It's just a religious and a mythological idea.

Life exists at various levels and has many different forms. A dead body, be it human or any other form of life, continues to host a multitude of all kinds of biological processes, at the cellular level, as bacteria and viruses ...

Even while the brain and the heart of a body is still fully functional, they can't exist with out hosting all these other life forms and biological processes as part of the digestive, reproductive and immune system or such bodies would never even be able to live, reproduce or fight off diseases ...

It's this natural balance between all life forms that's so amazing!

The human life form is too self-absorbed to value all other forms of life ... unless it resides in Wishingtown, NY or LA and is a source of funding for the political low life!  ... smile

It can't be explained scientifically because science isn't good enough to be able detect anything other than physical matter - maybe one day.

It can't be explained because it's something that isn't tangible and you can't conduct experiments on it.
