   Are people savage or primitive if they survive and thrive without electronics, cars, grocery stores?
   
   People have been considered and called less than if they survive and thrive without electronics, stores, cars, clothes, basically all of the things that are so called progress. What is your take on this? Do you feel people are lucky to be able to survive with the planet and are not joined in with the concrete jungle crowd? Or are they savage primitive and poor for it?

   I feel that each of us seeks our own personal wealth.
   The Fulfilled person is usually the one
   who defines wealth as Happiness,
   and not a collection of belongings.
   I have chased both over the years,
   but the greatest moments of Happiness,
   were deepest at the most simple of times.

   Poor is truly the person who measures their wealth OR happiness in 'things'. 
   
   I'm a 'mature guy' on social security but we pay our bills. 
   
   When I caught the attention of the National Geographic series: "Doomsday Preppers" (S1E9), my wife and I recognized the Risks.  I'm excited to teach 'Survival Tips' on an International Platform. I am disappointed by some of "Preppers" dramatized segments and the unfair assessments.
   
   What troubles me 'most' is that people who are preparing for disasters are Branded "Outliers" (suggesting 'outside of the social norm') on their commercials.  The people who buy Life, Car, Home and Health Insurance portray people who stock food and water, for emergencies like Haiti, Japan, Terrorist, Tornadoes and more, as slightly weird.  Really?  In an Emergency, will they want their insurance policy, or "Preppers" food and water?  I like our insurance policy better.
   
   Why is being prepared - knowing how to live off the land & minimalism strange?  It's the way most Humans lived until the industrial revolution.

   An unqualified no. I have been lucky enough to spend time in remote villages in Africa, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia and met some of the happiest people with more complex cultural and spiritual knowledge than most of my tech toting peers. Walk behind a New Guinea tribesman through the rainforest and all will be clear.
