This has been equated with Ego -- the spiritual blindness of separation and selfishness. This is ugly and evil. Some with a psychopathic bent may be attracted to such evil. Whole families have been suborned by such darkness -- Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Warburgs, etc. In the spiritual realm, light and Love are the more exciting traits for these lead to empowerment and perpetual bliss well grounded in reality.
