   Relating to the increasing & advanced technological/computerized advances in the United States,
   
   which groups of people will profit, even thrive in the advanced computerized society & which groups of people will falter, even becoming a permanent underclass w/no prospects of ever improving themselves?

   Grace, my answer is that technology doesn't have as much impact as the mind of man. Technology is like electricity, the invention was used for good and for bad by people.
   
   My point is that the human nature of people are not going to be changed by technology for most of the population.
   
   Technology will just be added to the human bag of tricks, and deceptions that we have seen since the industrial revolution. History will show that the different inventions changed our way of life, but it didn't change human nature.
   
   Politics, and political parties manipulated our lives without losing a beat as new technology was developed and became a staple of life.
   
   There have always been people that embrace new technology, and those that can't comprehend it, while others choose to ignore it as much as possible.
   
   I still no people that don't use a computer, or a smart phone, and some that don't even watch TV.
   
   Unless the robots take over, we will see the same human acts, with any new technology.
