1-child families in this postmodern society while multichild families are still glorified and revered?
Fear? Hatred? I think you're taking it a little too personal. No one fears or hates a childless couple, although many are envious of the extra time and money they have.
Nor do I see multichild families glorified or revered - my son has 4 and most people rather pity him.
That response reminded me what my late father stated over 4 decades ago. He stated that people routinely critiqued childfree and 1-child families; however, he stated that people actually derided and looked down upon families with 4 and more children.
