Oh please, when the land where Egypt was first populated after the flood, they were only a generation away from Noah. You don't think that some of Noah's teaching were passed down to his son? Are you unaware of Shem visiting Egypt? He was their uncle for Pete's sake. Did you forget that Abraham, only a few generations later also visited and shared his knowledge with the Egyptians?

If you are a member of a religious group, you'll find that they frown upon thinking for yourself. If you ask any questions, that would appear to go against the doctrine, you might as well have insulted the entire religion.
