What's the point of living if we all just die anyways?
thanks to everyone who answered my previous question. some of your comments were very reasuring...and uplifting. thank you. but my next question is, once you've found something to live for how do you continue when you don't think that's a good enough reason anymore? and i know im asking two like totally different questions but they are kind of linked and i really would like to know...
Life is actually what you make it... whether you believe that or not.
Therefore, if you choose to be negative about it in how you approach your life..... then negativity will rule your life and you will actually become someone that positive people can't be bothered with.
What's the point in living?
Well for each of us there is a positive personal reason or reasons... but factually the answer to that question is one that you have to find and decide upon for yourself or you will never appreciate the positivity that goes with it.
Yes, there are reasons to live in even though everybody knows “death is sure to come one day for everybody”. As no body knows the exact time, everybody is under compulsion to work. The pleasure of life lies not in search of death but in search of work good or bad. That is why- A wise man works under all circumstances.
Yes ... Life would be Meaningless ... if it were Purposeless ... But, we are born with a Purpose ... to be Humans ... and that, I Believe, is something worth Living for.
as time changes us, our purpose has to also grow. when children are gone, and grandkids are far away, one is still left with one's self at the end of day. i think i now have time to learn more of myself, and grow more and continue to become the person god meant for me to be. purpose? that is only a motivator. and the journey to answer it, probably the actual answer.
I agree with life is exactly what you make of it. As for your follow up question...if the reason isn't good enough it's time for a new reason. I have to say though- you are the reason to live life to its fullest and only you can be the true reason.
yeah I think the same too..but I feel neither the choice to live nor die is made by us.Sometimes I think even our life is programmed and all that we "try" to do and achieve is actually destined. Then I wonder why we don't just sit back and allow the destined things to happen !
Well, if we had a choice maybe we could choose whether we want to be Alive in the first place. But once we are alive death is surely inevitable.
Neither life nor death is a matter of choice for us, if we knew before coming to this world what we know now and we were able to weigh our decisions based on the information we have, who knows if we would still make that same decision from that stand point.
I guess the old age saying that goes "Make the best of your life" is what stands true in either case.
Enjoy the Journey of life and spread sunshine in the life of others...

What's the thanksgiving tradition, you don't like, but do anyways just because it's tradition? We all have to admit, chances are we all have that one relative we can't stand the presence of, or a food dish we cannot stand, but all tolerate due to tradition of holiday togetherness.

Why do most people, whilst they acknowledge God's existence fail to live for him?The devil has done everything he can to make people think that he doesn’t exist and yet most people live for him. Most people, though they believe in God don’t live for him. Why is that?

Now, I know there are many hubbers that are atheists here, but this forum is only for the people that believe there is a god and a devil. However, if you choose to participate in it anyway, then please go off the hypothetical conclusion that god and satan might be real to answer this...
