Explain it? Aren't we getting a bit ahead of ourselves? First, science would have to prove its existence.

This is not science's task...only the empirical. God is known by faith. It just amazes me that people who understand the astonishing facts and concepts of science--of something like astronomy or biology--never come to belief in a Grand Designer...that these things all just happened on their own. I don't need science to explain God; I believe he exists. Then, I bet on him: Better for me to live like he's there now than to not do so and find out otherwise!

Their existence is both controversial. Science is based from facts and scientific reasons while THE GOD is based from our faith and beliefs. Science cant explain THE GOD, and vice versa.

No. People cannot comprehend the idea and possibilities of God. Also I doubt if we will ever find proof of God.

Science?--probably not unless there truly is a God. Augustine of Hippo did believe he had philosophically proven the existence of God in the 5th Century. He postulated that because no object can go into motion without something acting upon it and because nothing simply happens without something causing it to happen, there must have been an original source of motion that brought all motion into existence. What made the mouse scurry away?--an acorn fell from a tree ad scared it. Why did the acorn fall?--because of gravity. What caused gravity to pull on the acorn?--space-time. What set space-time in motion?--the big bang. What caused the Big Bang?--Two parallel universes colliding. What caused those universes to move?--who knows? Something had to initiate all of this movement from nothing. That's the closest thing to a proof of God I can think of.

No, of course not.  The universe manifests itself via conscious Thought.  Whatever we think, becomes.  There's no end to the universe, there's no way to corral God into a box and "define" something that's infinite.  We are part of God; it's known in science that the observer affects the observed.  There's no way we can separate ourselves enough to get perspective on God.

No, I don't think. Because science is based on logic, evidences, and proper explanations. You can't find an evidence of god, can you?? have you seen god?? God exists in people's belief and other than this there is no proper explanation on god. So, I don't think science can prove the existence of god. At least at present I can say that.

No, I think Science will never be able to explain The God. Because science wants proof for every thing which is not possible in the case of existence of God.

I think that science will one day explain something along those lines, but not in a way that will appease the zealots. I imagine that if any sort of "God" exists, it is more of a universal collective conscious like researchers have observed on Earth. The more we learn about science, the more we realize that the universe is governed by universal laws and not controlled by the will of fictitious invisible men. I feel that most people still believe in God because they have not yet excepted how powerful the human mind is, nor have they educated themselves on recent discoveries in theoretical physics. There is no need for a "God" to be added into the equation to explain anything.
