Is there a general place to report online copyright infringement?
I found one of my articles on another site.
Check out this article from the Learning Center. It tells you how to file a complaint: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/how- … -complaint
Hope this helps!
Thank you for this! I have discovered 4 copied hubs - thanks for HubPages team highlighting them to me! Will follow the instructions to file with DMCA.
You are most welcome! Good luck; this has happened to a lot of Hubbers including myself. Also, do a search on HP and read some of the Hubs that address this issue. There's good info out there.
yes there is. i have been infringed upon myself and it sucks! Hopefully this link will tell you everything you need to know concerning this issue. Good luck.

Yes. File a complaint with the DMCA. J.S.Mathew has given the link. Just do it.
I want to notify HubPages that a particular site appears to be stealing copyright material from HubPages. The site is http://www.asthmaandallergytreatment.com/ . I found five of my photos and some of my text there. I was notified by another Hubber who said that some of her material had been stolen. She told me where to find my stolen images. Would HubPages be willing to contact the site owner and tell him to desist? If Hub's bots are finding duplicate content there, it is a good chance that the duplicate content is on the other site, not HubPages. What gets me is that if the person had ASKED me if he could use some images, and been willing to give me attribution, I might have agreed (or not). But I want HubPages to be aware that IF they find duplicate content on any Hubs, it's that guy's doing, not the Hubber. From the look of things, he's using a 'bot to steal content, because of what he stole. You might want to check and see if any of your content is on the site. If we all gang up on him, maybe he will stop.

About once a week I peruse my hubs to check on traffic, comments, and just generally see how things are going. One of my hubs, "What Are The Benefits of Eating Bananas," had the copyright symbol next to it. I...

If any content of the hub is being copied by someone and used elsewhere, its not the fault of hubber. This is nice that HP is motivating hubbers to file DMCA to the concerned site and take appropriate action, who is...

I'm planning a hub about one particular actor in one particular scene of a movie. Without a visual representation of the actor in the scene the article would be meaningless, but no free or non-copyrighted photos appear...

I've sent three emails and a certified letter to a website owner who has stolen one of my Hubs, following the DMCA protocol to a T. (I got the vital stats and a postal address from Who Is.) All with no response...
