Do you have any tips on getting used to Daylight Savings Time and other time changes?
Nope. We live in Arizona, the only state in the Union smart enough to ignore the arbitrary B.S. of Daylight Savings Time altogether.
In the UK we only have a one hour time change twice a year - I actually like it because it becomes part of the changing seasons. One way to prepare for the change is to set your alarm clock 10 minutes earlier or 10 minutes later each day for the six days prior to the change depending on the which way the clock is moving. If the clock is going forward i.e 7am will become 8am, If you usually set the alarm for seven in the preceding week you would set it for 6.50, 6.40, 6.30, 6.20, 6.10 and finally 6am on the day before the change. Then on the day of the change if you move the clocks back the night before, you can have the alarm set for 7am again. It will also help if you go to bed slightly earlier each day. People tend to have more difficulty with the clocks going forward, because you 'miss' an hour, but the same principal can be applied to the leap back in autumn so that you end up spending your usual time in bed instead of making use of the hour with a lie in.
This principle could also be applied before travelling to somewhere on a different timeline, but I appreciate that where the difference in time is larger then two hours this may not be practical.
I love nettlemere's suggestions. This would work for me very well. I just change the clock and adjust overnite - it is rough!

When do you change your clocks for Daylight Savings Time? When do you change your clock? Before going to bed, precisely at 2 a.m., or the next morning?

Which do you prefer, "Spring forward" or "Fall backwards"?Personally, I love "Spring forward" as I get to drive my commute home after work during the daylight! Plus, after I get home, I can walk my dog during the daylight! Eventually, I will get to spend...
