Basically a Philosophy ... though I find it really hard deciphering it's proponents Semantic Jugglery ... But since "you asked for it" ... here goes ...
According to Merriam Webster's Dictionary
[I reproduce the exact text used in the Dictionary] ...
I Quote ...
"Dialectical Materialism ... The theory of reality affirming continuous transformation of matter and dynamic interconnectedness of things and concepts, and implying social transformation through socialism to-ward a classless society, which was advanced by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels and adopted as the official soviet philosophy."
unquote.
I like the "Theory of Reality" bit in the Definitive ... But anyone can see the reason ... why both its authors, bore that frightful look on their faces ... essentially seen on the faces of Mentally confused people ... who ... unfortunately, are a boon to smart political leaders ... looking for any commonly incomprehensible, Philosophy ... and adopt it in justifying their cruel activities.

What is Dialectical Materialism?

Myn,
Marx's synthesis of Hegel's dialectics, proposes that every economic order grows to a state of maximum efficiency, while simultaneously developing internal contradictions and weaknesses that contribute to its systemic decay.
There is no efficiency if the basic tenets of the theory are flawed, to say that "every economic order grows to a state of maximum efficiency" is a misnomer which implies that the original tenets where right when they where in fact skewed and not efficient at all to begin with (imperfections fester and become more cancerous is the case in point)... To create an efficient system the variable must balance in an equation of inclusive character aspects that equate to some success value...
This Dialectical Materialism theory on economic progression misses the initial step that most theories miss, they do not say whether or not they are in a closed or open system of thought; but in most cases the thought system is closed and thus the variables are limited to the one's they care to expound on.
To theorize anything, the thing must be considered an open book, that can lead to other things and in so doing must conform to a singular dialectic, paradigm and standard-model that provided subsets of logic and justification...
Here is an example of an efficient dialectic, a paradigm formula economic-model:
(success) (value) = (wealth) (resource) X (prosperity)(distribution)(economics)
Then this is how economics improves, because these are the variables:
(economics) = (success) (value) / (wealth) (resource) (prosperity)(distribution)
The betterment or the demise of an economic system is based on its inclusive, selfless civility which provides the quality derived from its dialectic paradigm model; and this dialectic notion is true for all of existence experiences...
Dialectical Materialism is a philosophical system which is the basis of Marxism. It is derived from , though not systematically outlined in, the writings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. According to this system, human need is fundamental to any interpretation of man and society, and reality is seen in purely material terns. Thus the basis and purpose of society is seen as economic -the production of the means of life- and this determines its social, political and intellectual character. From Hegel, Marx adopted the dialectical approach to history, but based on material experience. He saw all things as containing tensions and conflicts which are the driving force of change, and regarded the history of society as that of a class struggle, proceeding from capitalism to its opposite and then to the final synthesis of a classless society.

As far as I know, there exist so many Gods ( conceptual ). We can classify them as unscientific Gods and scientific Gods. Of course, the unscientific Gods, because they happen to be unscientific, can't be ' possible '. Then we're left with scientific Gods alone. But then again all these Gods fall...
