Are you convinced that we can control our lives by controlling our perceptions.

The latest research in cell biology by Dr. Bruce Lipton describing that our bodies can be changed as we retrain our thinking. Lipton says that genes change according to the signals they "read" from the environment in continuous feedback loops.

I have had great success overcoming many self defeating conditions through cognitive behavioral therapy. Learning to retrain myself with smaller issues his resulted in getting my depression, anxiety, OCD and codependency under control. By learning how to override the fearful and negative perceptions I was fed as a child and replacing them with more positive perceptions about my abilities, my responses and my surroundings, I have been able to develop better problem solving skills, live less in fear and create greater outcomes for myself. I do believe that our brain does rewire itself according the information we feed and dwell upon.

As a light practitioner of energy manipulation, I can say with a fair amount of confidence that your thoughts really do effect your reality.  With so many scientific studies finally surfacing to support this, such as the effect of observation on cells, or the theory of attraction.  Having a positive outlook can help improve your health, can give you confidence that you normally wouldn't have had, it even helps you to recognize and approach small acts of 'fate' that you might normally have just passed by.

Even just meditating can have a tremendous effect on your health, giving you more energy and clearing your mind.  I think there is a lot that has yet to be discovered about consciousness and its effect on the world around us.

do you think that "our perception" and "the law of attraction" are two different characteristics.

I have read somewhere that our mind feeds us with all those negative thoughts that trigger our negative emotions which influence our behaviour and action we take.
We can not stop our negative and worrying thoughts as they are just the part of our genetic makeup but we can choose to react on them. If the thoughts are useful for us (warn us from real danger or help us to take a safer course of action etc.) we react upon them, if not, we just need to acknowledge them and realize they will be there if we like it or not....at the end of the day, they are just words in our head....
