If you could control one element fire, water, air or earth, which would you control? Why?

I will try to control water.. ensuring that this indispensable resource is uniformly distributed all over the world... this will curb the population density problems and almost a large part of barren land will come into use.. It will also check the seasonal floods... And controlling water will also allow me to get rid of Tsunami which causes large devastation...

I am not a fan of Last Airbender, but my first answer is fire. With fire you can not only easily defend yourself, but also become powerful enough to mete out justice against those who harm others. But you would also never have to worry about freezing to death!

I would choose air so I could fly, and because air seems like a a good defensive element to control, maybe not as much as earth, but, flying.

My first option is air as air can beat them all. Fire loses to all of them and earth is the second contender

The question is one of CONTROL.

Presumably therefore, all the other three elements could be made available to me, subject to Negotiation, and my control of one of the four should give me  a valuable edge. .
For example, fire would be uncontrollable without water.  In addition, more than 70% of  creation is water-based. What would the world be, without the Oceans. I could obtain my food from the sea. As a matter of  fact, all of these factors are very highly interdependent, and I could use my control of Water to negotiate for access to all of the others.
    Therefore, I choose Water.

I would choose water.  Water can be a gas, liquid or a solid.  If I could control it I think I could do more with it than fire, earth or air.  I also like being near the water.  In the summer I spend a lot of time in or near it.  It is relaxing.  In the winter I would not need to shovel the driveway.

Most of the places I would like to travel to are near water.  I could probably use my abilities to travel to far away places.  Besides helping myself I would secretly help other people.  Air would be my second choice.

Fire. No doubt about that. I love fire.. and at the same time.. I'm terrified of it.. so controlling fire would be perfect!

I would control water.  I would never he thirsty I could  put out fires and I can make animals and food float to me to feed myself and other people.  I could water dried up grounds and help farmers.  I could help those who are without clean water.  I could use it to fight against people trying to commit crimes.  I can help kids have fun in the summer and make a pool anywhere I please and I could wash cars.

fire because if you are in a dark place or inside a shark turn to firely blaze then burn it...and eat it and when its dark on the see you can be the light thing that brings boats too shore and when your in a cold play with ice so hard yo can just get a cup melt it then drink it and make  fire by your own hands but water is good to because you can help nature like fire on the forest you can just take it away and bring back ashes of leaves but earth is good to it protect some people ex. earthquake you can just stop it and air is good to because when theres a tornado you can just stop it..but what i would choose is fire cuz i looooveeee heat from the sun day and afternoon i just love it that is why i pick fire ...:WARNING:do not play with fire.... XD
