If your thoughts fully represent who you are, can you ever change them?
Changing ones thoughts can be extremely difficult, and if this is possible, then does changing ones thoughts actually change a person for better or for worse. (Example: Thoughts of love can make you a more loving individual etc....)
I don't think that your thoughts define *everything* that you are, we're also made up of emotions, experiences, perceptions, perspectives and more. Of course, thoughts are prominent, but I don't think they are our totality.
And we can of course change our minds and thoughts about things as we discover more. I certainly think we can change our minds and thoughts about things, although I don't think that changes our underlying personality - instead it helps us become more aware of who we are underneath and honour that part of ourselves.
Our thoughts change according to our experiences and our perspective is changed afterwards. If yu are hearbroken, your thoughts are dark and depressive and that changes your perspective on the world around, you tend to be more suspicious of people's intentions...on the other hand, if you are in love, your thoughts are optimistic and you feel everything is possible and your perspective changes accordingly, you become more adventurous and open to new ideas...

I've had a couple of strange occurrences with what I think was the supernatural...freeky stuff.Plus whenever I have a height of a specific emotion and I walk past a light (no matter where it is) It tends to turn off....
