Are you able to make up the hour that you lose with daylight savings?
You get the hour back when you change your clock back in the fall.
Of course this archaic and wasteful system should've been cancelled years ago. It saves no energy and costs people much more trouble in auto accidents and missed appointments. For those in IT the hit is extra since they have to manage the time changes on all the servers, which many times have to be set manually depending on the system.
Sorry That is just my DST rant. I do it twice a year.
That "lost" hour does not exist. Clock time is an artificial contrivance invented for human convenience.
