How many of the advanced civilization were destroyed due to exploration starting at 1492?
I enjoy western movies and in many of them I find out about destroyed civilization, in the name of expansion.
Quite a few civilizations were destroyed that period. In fact, almost all Mesoamerican civilizations, some of the east Asian cultures such as Philippines were destroyed. A majority of India, China and Japan were also destroyed. I don't know much about Africa. But I guess wherever the European colonies existed, the original cultures were almost destroyed if not totally.
