What are THE POSITIVE associations w/DARKNESS, BLACKNESS, & NIGHT?

The concepts of darkness, blackness, & night oftentimes have quite negative associations with the human consciousness, mindset & psychology.  Darkness, blackness & night has been associated with evil, even the demonic.  However, there can be quite wonderful associations w/darkness, blackness, & night. It all depends upon what we BELIEVE to be the resonations of such words in our minds.

Night is proof of intelligent design. We think we need it to rest our minds and bodies, imagine how frayed the world would be if we were all free to tinker with things 24/7. And if you don't live in a city it's quiet, a time to think or even sit outside without intruding eyes. And then there is dreaming...

It certaintly is.  Night is the most beautiful time of day.  Yet it is unappreciated, even maligned.

I believe the night can be associated with restoration. As humans, our mind/body have adapted to the circadian rhythm and allowed us to fall asleep at night. When we sleep, we are able to refresh/retain most of memory as well as create dreams that will further improve our cognitivity.
