   Are Satan, Lucifer and The Devil the same?
   
   I have also noticed that the horns are never the same and I was curious as to why that is. Are the three of them real or are they simply fiction?

   Yes.  Before he became known as Satan, his original name was Lucifer--that name was given to him by God.  Lucifer was God's greatest angel, until he decided he wanted to be God, and overthrow God.  He lost that battle. From then on, his name was changed to Satan, but he is also known as the devil.  A devil is really any demon or evil entity, but he is THE devil, because he is the worst of all.  I assure you he is very real, and active in this world.  The only one who can save you from him is Jesus Christ.

      Forget the horns.  People draw them different.  Satan is invisible.

      According to Revelation 12:7-13 there is going to be a "war in heaven". That assumes one believes the book of Revelation is about the {future}.

   Yep, all three are under the satanic reign. Even we are under that reign when we don't obey God or when we choose to live under our own rules of existence but God in Christ is to save us even from the sins of ourselves. Pay attention to the people that have experienced the turmoil of life and repented. Anyone that is Anti-Christ is considered satanic and among the lost.

   Stargrrl is right.  Lucifer actually means angel of light.  He became Satan after his fall from Heaven.  Satan and devil means adversary.

   What's in a name?
   Abaddon, Apollyon, Beelzebub, Belial, the Antichrist, the prince of darkness...etc Ultimately names are unimportant.
   If one believes in "good" there must be "evil" or some type of opposition.

      I was not interested in the names; it was only whether all were one and whether they were real or fake. Sometimes they make me think of bulls, rams, or who knows what.
