those who were born in affluent socioeconomic circumstances?
I hear many people rising out of debt or becoming millionaires over years of working and investing on Dave Ramsey's show.
90% of the wealthy both on income and net worth are first generation rich in the US, a percentage that has been true for a century. We have a much higher rate of first generation wealthy (and better odds of wealthy sinking back to shirt sleeves/middle class) than Europe and Asia.
