True Blood; Hottest Woman

Updated on August 20, 2014

Sexiest True Blood Actress

While all the women of True Blood are beautiful, there are three stand outs In this series. They represent three stereo types of women.

The first stand out is of course Sookie. She is beautiful, sensitive and best of all naive. Sookie is the typical blonde flailing victim. She is constantly attracted to danger, death and her whole existence is completely unnatural. The girl is a freak. She hears voices in her head and sleeps with vampires. Like a moth to the flame this own loves to be burned.

Second is the eternal virgin Jessica. She is also unnatural but she is strong and ambitious. However there is also a very soft and delicate side to Jessica that off sets her famine for death with her delicate feminism and deep seeded need for love. However she is tragic as well as she has fallen in love with Jason and there must be a certain amount of self hatred for this character to fall for the up disciplined sexually promiscuous Jason Stakehouse.

Third is Tara. She has perhaps the best body of all three woman. She is black, beautiful, bisexual (The three B's)and she is terribly sexy. The character of Tara has a deep inner strength to contain her demons while a deep love for her friend Sookie. At the beginning of this series there was foreshadowing that Tara was in love with Jason. That unrequited love seems to not really effect Tara's character but I have always hoped Tara and Jason would find love. Tara is a uncarved marble rock and with each episode the writers keep sculpting her into a beautiful statute.

Actresses Which Should Have Been Considered

Again this article was written years ago so many characters who were in more supportive roles have had their roles develop I to leading roles. I would have considers the actress who played Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten), Arlene (Carrie Preston) and Holly (Lauren Bowles). Each actresses is immensely talented to beautiful. There again there are no losers in this article. All of these women are beautiful, talented and are leaving a very successful and well received television series, True Blood.

It truly is sad that the series True Blood will end on August 24, 2014. It has been a long wonderful run and these three woman have carried the show but there are other beauties not mentioned here as this article was originally written years ago. It is funny to reread because the characters have stayed true to their nature threw out the entire series. My original analysis of their characters tragedies flaws have not changed. How could their be a show or comedy without tragedy? If there was one female character who evolved at all in the show it was the character of Tara but I will not spoil how. You will have to watch it for yourself and it is well worth it.

Interestingly enough, the voters on this particular article did not find the lead actress Anna Paquin the most hot or even the best actress. Arguably, without Anna Paquin's character there would not have been a series as the entire plot evolves around her.

In this poll, the readers found Deborah Ann Woll as the hottest female lead as well as the best actress. It would have been interesting if the writers would have ever put Alexander Skarsgard and Deborah Ann Woll in a romantic relationship but the series is over and it is now too late for that.

Like the lead makes the lead females worked as an ensemble well. They literally did not upstage each other but their performances enhanced each other's. Again this is a testament to how well the entire production staff, writers, crew and actors worked together. There are no losers in this poll as each of these women are outstandingly talented and beautiful.

It will be sad when this series ends. It has been entertaining, wildly outrageous and a great deal of fun. But on August 24, 2014 we will peer into Louisiana Bayou for the grand finale of True Blood.

      Well Lybrah,

At times each female charactyer stands out. There are times Sookie has it hands down but then Tara comes and stteals it away as well as Jessica. Tara and Pam's love story has blown me away lately so yes, now Pam has stolen the spotlight.

I recently had to cut the cable as I couldn't take anymore political ads. I feel like during the election I should be paid to watch TV. I don't know if we will ever get it back as we have more study time, family time and work time which I love. But if comcast ever gets it together and offers a really good deal maybe. They have let us down so badly this year and during research, publication and professional publication. We now just hit wifi hotspots and email from there. I would hate to lose True Blood, Burn Notice, Firnge and all my favorite shows but I can't keep paying for a service which doesn't exist half the time. I haven't even mentioned Game of Thrones which I love as well.

      Thanks for reading and commenting.

      I adore this show.
