Is Alec Baldwin a spoiled and bigoted bully toward his fellow human beings, or...
Actor and Hollywood celebrity, Alec Baldwin, is a staunch supporter of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). He is also known for exerting little control over his temper, e.g.: he was thrown off a plane after having a hissy fit in the restroom..he threatened his own child during a long-distance telephone call..he recently hurled an ugly slur against a gay female reporter. Do you think Mr. Baldwin behaves like a spoiled, bigoted bully toward his fellow human beings, or is it socially acceptable to treat human beings however you want if you are a famous PETA-supporting liberal?
You may want to question yourself as to why you raised this "question."
I think he's simply a douchebag, and being a famous PETA supporting liberal has nothing to do with it. He'd probably be a douchebag even if he wasn't famous.
Alec Baldwin is like all of us - he has good days and bad days but he has to do it in the public eye. I shiver to think if I was followed around by the media the things they would say about me - but I am lucky to have the cape of invisibility so no one gives a crap what I do.
If everyone stopped photographing this guy and just leave him alone--we'd all be better off. He'll either self-destruct or not.
Mr. Baldwin has a history of behavioral problems in public although he is an astounding actor. He has anger management issues pure and simple. He simply wants to be left unnoticed outside of making movies.
However, such is not the case. Actors when they are out in public, are asked questions by columnists and other people whose living it is to interface with actors. Vanessa Williams is a sterling example of how to interface with photographers, columnists, and parapazzi. She is always gracious, classy, and cordial even when some of the latter are highly intrusive. Never once was she ever rude or acted unprofessionally towards them.
Beth, glad you brought up spoiled. Yes, Mr. Baldwin is spoiled and egotistical YET he is one of SIX children. Well that disproves that those who come from large families aren't spoiled and know how to interface well with others. Really, now?
Children who come from large families are spoiled and egotistical, many extremely so. More so, perhaps because they did not receive proper parental attention as children and had to constantly vy with a large number of siblings for parental space. Some have to adopt highly aggressive behavior just to be noticed by their parents. Yes, Mr. Baldwin PROVES that one can come from a large families and be spoiled, selfish, and egotisical. in addition to not getting along with others.
Hmmm, Mr. Baldwin apparently do not how to interface well with others. He is known to be abrasive, even abusive to columnists, parapazzi, and photographers. He was even verbally abusive to his OWN DAUGHTER. Me thinks that Mr. Baldwin NEEDS to act his age, NOT his shoe size.
gmwilliams, I agree with your last statement, lol1 But I don't see his bad behavior as an adequate reflection on large families. Dolly Parton is the 4th of 12 children and she is one of the most generous & decent celebrities around.
I did not mean that at all. What I was saying that people from large families CAN be spoiled & selfish.Family size is no indicative measure of as to whether a person is generous or selfish. Betty White, an only child, is known to be quite genero
gmwilliams, you wrote, "Children who come from large families are spoiled and egotistical, many extremely so." Sorry, but that does rather smack of a generalization. However, I concede that perhaps what you wrote was harsher than what you intended.
