If you had the opportunity to interview the person of your choice......

WHO would it be?  and what would be your first or most important question?

Hmmm. I can think of so many I'd like to interview. I don't know if dead people count so I will answer about a person from the past and a present person.

From the past: Abraham Lincoln or George Washington. Abe I would ask if he would look back on his presidency and say what his greatest challenge was, and how did he cope and manage the stress of such a terrible season in our history as the president of the United States.

I would ask Mr. Washington to share his vision, hopes and dreams for America leading up to his presidency, during, and after? It would be nice to hear without revisionists in the picture.

Present: Saeed Abedini, the Iranian born American pastor who is in an Iranian prison for his faith in Christ. One question would be, how has this persecution changed your perspective on the Christian living, and how has it affected your relationship with God?

Such a beautiful and thoughtful response.  Thank you so much for sharing this with us.  Your choices are impressive, lambservant & your questions so interesting and realistic.  Peace, Paula

I've always dreamt of being able to sit down with Mozart and get his opinions of music from composers since he died. Show him how he influenced the world of composition and see what he thinks of the evolution.

That would be one utterly awesome interview, orandze!  Thank you.

She is deceased but Sara Burton. She was tricked into being a slave and the unwilling the first video vixen. They were so amazed by her body that after her death they cut off her vagina and other parts to display them in a museum. Her body parts were not buried til 2002. The question I would want to know is "What do you think of todays youth?.

This is certainly information I never knew.  I'm not sure who you mean by "They," but they don't sound like anyone we'd like to know anyway, do they?  An interview with Sara could only be intriguing.  Thank you SM.

Scientist is who I mean by "they". Sara burtons body look similar to bodies like Nicki minaj.

I'd like to interview Michelle Obama. I'd love to have a "girlfriend to girlfriend" chat with her about what it REALLY felt like to be in the White House as First Lady. I would want to have this interview with her when the president's term is over, after she is out of her position. I would ask her, "How confining was it to live in the White House in the position of First Lady and give up your mobility?" If you recall, she was spotted in cognito at a Target outside of Washington, pushing a shopping cart during the first term, I think.  I'd love to chat with her about how hard it was and what she missed the most, other than shopping. smile

jan....Michelle is an ideal choice.  She appears to be such a "down to earth" woman & totally dedicated to their daughters, which always impresses me.  I DO wonder how awful it would be to have NO privacy! Shopping is a woman's right!! LOL

If I had the opportunity to interview the person of my choice, it would be Queen Elizabeth I of England. I would like to know why did she choose to marry her country than marry the man that she truly loved. Her life would be much better having someone beside her, I think.

Arco.....Royalty is certainly an entirely unique breed of people (literally).  I believe your interview would prove to be quite enlightening.

It would be Yanni. Not sure what my first question would be, but at some point I'd probably ask him if he'd like to park his boots (or flip flops) under my bed for a spell. LOL

Shall we assume you have just the spot for his piano??    I certainly hope so. Yanni w/o his piano is like you w/o your garden, your kitties & your writing!!  You may need to stock up on Greek Yogurt too!  LOL

I have a 1936 Sterling upright sitting in my dining room. The first year they were made. And Greek yogurt is a staple in my house. I use it instead of sour cream.

      Any more questions, Paula? :-)

I've already been able to do something like this. I enjoy learning about independent authors because they're not famous enough for magazines and so on to talk about them. I've posted some of those interviews here at HP so other people can also learn about some fascinating people. My favorite answers have to do with why that person writes the types of books they write and how they get their ideas.

Good for you Sheila!  Have you asked our Bill Holland for an interview?  Maybe you should!  It would be read by EVERYONE!   You need to read his Novel, "Resurrecting Tobias."  I can't say enough great things about it!

I'd like to interview Taylor Swift while she's on tour. I would be her groupie reporter. My first question would be, "Do you think you would be as popular as you are if Kanye didn't interrupt you at the 2009 VMA's?"  I know, this incident happened 5 years ago...but I'm still curious as to her response! For the record I liked TS's music before and after KW.

My first choice would be the 17th century composer, Ludwig Van Beethoven.  I would ask for permission to hang out with him and watch how he composes his magnificent music.  Then, I would wear my sexiest dress and flirt like mad!
