Well, Stephen Tyler has quit, Jennifer Lopez is probably quitting...and I just heard that Randy Jackson is also out as a judge.

Who would you like to see as an American Idol judge?

I will miss Stephen Tyler; but I admire Mariah she is one of my favorite artists. Your voice is superb! Let's bring back Simon Cowell! I really enjoy his honesty and integrity! There is something about that man.smile

Had to come back and edit. lolo! Brett Michaels we need another rocker!

Sean Combs AKA P Diddy would be great at the job, if they could afford him.

they'll probably pick one or more old contestants like - Carrie Underwood, or Adam Lambert (!) or ? you know what I mean - I'll miss Stephen Tyler  - the show is basically on a downtrend - since every winner should have been the runner up IMO

he could give em something to talk about!  lol  I am thinking they should change the whole format - go out on a limb and have NO JUDGES!!  just guest celebs who coach the participants and of course everybody in amerika will vote on their favs!  yes?  big_smile

There would be no nonsense.  I don't watch the show anymore.  I find it hard to believe the people making the final 12, are the best america has to offer.
They actually lost me at "Chicken Little".

trouble with celebrity judges is, they don't wanna offend their fans, so they always give nice comments. AI needs judges who are not afraid to be hated because they have nothing to lose.

I love American Idol.... have watched it for years... and I will continue to watch it. I don't care who the judges are, I watch the show because I love music. I love the talent on the show and I'm a fan of many of the contestants and have bought CDs from several, not just the winners. The show isn't about the judges, its about the contestants and their chances to live out their dreams and make a better life for their families.

Mariah Carey is supposed to be a new judge if I'm not mistaken.  I think that will be good for the show and for the contestants! She is one of the best to ever do it!

And I think "The Voice" is a really great show too!

Yes, that means I won't be watching the show this year.
