What is your favorite fantasy-themed TV shows?

With Netflix, I have recently started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Legend of the Seeker, Merlin, Hercules: Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, and the Wizards of Waverly.

I am surprised how much I have enjoyed these TV shows.

What fantasy-themed TV shows have  you enjoyed?

I agree with you about Buffy, Xena, and Hercules and I will add Angel and Robin Hood. Throw in Stargate Atlantis and you have a good veg weekend.

Charmed was my favorite show, it's a shame that it is no longer being made.  I watch all the re-runs.  Too much fun!  Besides Micheal Bailey Smith (The red Balthazar-the big guy) is the son of my Mom's high school friend.

Merlin is my current favourite as I've grown up reading about King Arthur, Camelot and Merlin. I used to love watching Monkey and The Water Margin when I was a boy, great shows!

I have recently published a hub about King Arthur too

I enjoyed Legend of the Seeker, although it was nothing like Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series on which it was based (The novels were better ... there, I said it).

Comedy Centrals Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire is worth looking up; really funny stuff:

The new HBO production, Game of Thrones, looks excellent. It's based on book one of A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin.

I don't think I could pick a favorite. I love all the ones you listed, Larry, plus I will add Charmed, Stargate-SG-1 and Atlantis, Angel, Battlestar Gallactica, Supernatural, Fringe, Lost, and Terra Nova is a great new additon.
It's great that so many people have such amazing imaginations and that we get such great shows from them.
