I really like Survivor and The Amazing Race. I also liked The Mole, but unfortunately that show was not really popular with the rest of America and therefor is not on TV anymore.
Probably "The Biggest Loser" because it has such a big, positive impact on people's lives; not only for the participants, but for the people watching. Viewers get inspired and make positive health changes and live longer.
I don't really watch too many reality shows, but one that I enjoy is Project Runway. Though they try to keep people entertained by showing some drama, in the end it's really about the designer's ability to design and construct a garment.
One that I think is absolutely ridiculous is The Real World. Admittedly, I've only watched two episodes to date, but I just don't see a point to that show at all. Which can be said of a lot of reality shows.
Just saying.
Oh, my! I must be one of the youngest answering this question. I will honestly admit my two current favorite reality shows are.... *drum roll*...
The Bad Girls Club & The Jersey Shore!
Hey, they aren't the greatest. But which one really is? It makes for some hilarious entertainment. I don't take any of them seriously, it's just something I do when I unwind from work. Pour a glass and enjoy watching others make a fool of themselves. It's just my personal choice. Give me credit for answering honestly, ha ha-haaa!
I like the Apprentice and lately I've been watching the Amazing Race.
Oh i'm a great fan of Dance shows, so i follow most of the dance shows, especially the ones with credible judges! The one i'm currently following is Just Dance!
I love Techstars and it shows start ups in New York working on presenting to Venture Capitalist for funds for their project. Very entertaining!
Survivor. Although this last Thursday they did a gross out challenge where they all had to chew the meat off an animal and drop it in a basket. That was disgusting watching them spit it in and help others get it unstuck out of their teeth. Yuck.
Right now I'm totally addicted to Extreme Couponing and Dual Survivor!
Recently, it has been Big Brother and Dance Moms but sadly both have ended. And I hope no one judges me for being addicted to Dance Moms, I know some of the moms are awful and their instructor isn't so great herself but as a former dancer and instructor I can't help but watch how talented these young girls are.
Also love love love Extreme Couponing from TLC. Currently working on a HUB of how I coupon.
Big boss is the best series which seems to be kind of realistic and not scripted for us indians.
America's Next Top Model ... it's got that mix of fashion and catfighting that I find irresistible (for reality TV, at least).
X- Factor! I love to watch people sing their faces off! haha
Survivor! But, the most recent episode leaves me wondering if I still want to watch it. That last challenge was so gross with people biting into meat, spitting it into a basket, and helping each other take meat out of each other's teeth by having team members bite the meat out of their mouth. All of that transferring of saliva was extremely unsanitary. I'm sure the producers know that. And, I'm sure the producers don't care. And, since they don't care about the health of their contestents, I'm not sure I care to watch the show anymore. But, I'm so addicted to that show. My addiction may win over my attitude.
I like them all, why? The answer is in the world itself, its real!
Biggest Loser. They inspired me so much and made me realized that the ends of labor is success as long as you did it accordingly.
Survivor. I used to have Survivor parties in college. It is sort of the grand-daddy of the modern reality TV era (and God help its spawns!). Seriously though, I think Survivor still has the most depth of human interaction and experiment--even though we must remember...it's a TV show.
My favorite "reality" show is History Detectves on PBS. Its an educational program, sort of set up like an investigative mystery program, in which a museum curator, an auctioneer, and other kinds of professionals go to people's homes. These people will have a question about an artifact that's been in their family forever and want to know its significance to American history.
I don't really care for reality shows however if I'd have to choose it would be bad girls club
Reality TV is such an interesting part of modern television. With some many different genres of reality TV it's hard to pick a true favorite. Shows like the Jersey Shore, which I'll admit I LOVE, and Teen Mom sometimes overshadow other reality gems.
Survivor, then Amazing Race. Although I tune in to others, those are the top spots.
Mine are..
Extreme Couponing,
Big brother,
Cake boss,
X-factor
The biggest loser x
I am obsessed with Big Brother and the Amazing Race...these are can't miss shows. Also like American Idol....If I could choose one to be on it would be Big Brother!
"Kaun Banega Crorepatti? " Indian version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?"
There are several that I like to watch but my all-time favorite is Big Brother! I can not wait for the summer to see it! Others that I like include The Voice, Face-Off, Survivor, Cupcake Wars, and Cake Boss: Next Great Baker. (plus others. ha-ha.)
Big Brother on CBS is about 13 (sometimes more or less) strangers who compete for a summer to win $500,000. They are cut off from the outside world. It's a great reality show with lots of drama and entertainment! read more

How much TV do you watch?Do you have certain programs you hate to miss? Do you have the TV on as background noise? Do you watch it mainly for news or entertainment?
