   I think she is because she embodies confidence and depth of personality rather than just aesthetic appeal. Take Jessica Alba...gorgeous lady, but arguably not as adored

   I'm sorry but, no, I don't think so.  I have a hard time figuring out where this comes from; the roles I've seen her in are somewhat superficial, self absorbed and false.  This actress has never resonated with me, personally...and, of course, this is only my opinion.

   She certainly has a look that's... unconventional for a big celebrity. I can't say I like any of her recent roles, and I think that might influence how attractive a person appears to be. Either way, I don't find her even remotely attractive.

   I officially love her, SJP is so sincere, real, cute, funny, bubbly, easygoing and such a  non - self obsessed celeb! She's planning to move to Ireland and she has a house here - So she may be my new best friend in a while. I know where she lives...muhaha

   I guess everyone has their opinion about her.  What is modern beauty to you?  I sorry, but if you take off the makeup, the million dollar dresses, the perfume she wears, and what do you have?  A person who makes a living just like everyone else.   It just pays a lot of money.    Would SJP still be beautiful to you?   When I see a beautiful person, I look for more than just the outside, the part that you see.   This is the person who turns heads the moment they walk into a room.   Now, if you throw in the personality that she is humbled by what she does, makes sure that the world around her is well taken care of to the best of her ability, such as SJP does not mind helping in a soup kitchen, and it is not building up her self imagine.   Now you have a person who has modern beauty.   
   Until I see or read that, I will have to answer, NO.  Everyone is beautiful in their own way.   Stop putting people up on a pedestal if they do not need to be up there.

      Oh no, everyone is not beautiful.    Please!    Only a small percentage of people would be described as thus.   Beautiful were/are the late Hedy Lamarr,  late Lena Horne,  late Dorothy Dandridge, Vanessa Williams, Charlize Theron,  and Vanity!

      Now, she ISN'T exactly ugly.  She is PLAIN, even HOMELY but ugly would go little bit far.  Gabourey Sidibe is what one would call U-GLAY!

    I think that is an attractive picture you have of her in your question, but I wouldn't put her at the top of the list or close to the top.  I find her eyes pretty, though.

    If by beauty then you are referring to a horse, then yes. She's got a very good bone structure and I'm sure he mane will stay nice and shiney for years to come.

       Jarn, You are SOOOO ON TARGET with this one!  While she is not beautiful but nearer to the ugly scale, she is not as bad as GABOUREY SIBIDE!   Now, when you look at Ms. Sibide,  you just THROW up-literally!

       Vanessa Williams is the MOST BEAUTIFUL woman in the world.  In fact, she is indescribably beautiful!  Sarah Jessica Parker is not beautiful, not even pretty in the least!

    If I see her in the Night I would be terrified!
    There are few kids in the neighborhood who are quite loud.When I show them sarah picture and teell them she is coming to eat them they become quiet immediately.
    She looks like cross bread between alien and predator!
    Actually,alien is far more beautiful than jessica!

    Well as far as I see it if you have loads of money you automatically become beautiful. I can say that I appreciate that they feature her in the spotlight to represent most average woman and that is commendable.

    Sarah Jessica Parker is nearer to the definition of ugly than she is to the definition of beauty.   Charlize Theron is what one would describe as beautiful.    Sarah sadly is NOT!

    She isn't that good looking. I don't think having a bunch of expensive clothing makes a person more glamorize and beautiful. There are times that she can be pretty (she was alright looking in hocus pocus and some of her hairstyles in sex in the city were flattering for her) she's just not beautiful to me though. She seems like an alright person, can pull off being pretty, and she seems kind in her interviews in magazines I've read. But no I don't view her as what modern beauty is. Beauty to me is like lily Collins or Miranda Kerr or Brooke shields.
