That is a really good question, and I am not sure there is a particular answer for it, but I will do the best I can. There are three members of our team: Ryan, Adam, and myself: Mike. If you ask Ryan, he will tell you the best television show on at the moment is Smallville. If you ask Adam, he will tell you NCIS. If you ask me, I will say CSI: Miami. The important thing to remember is that everyone has their particular favorite show, and there are many different answers. There are also some very promising shows in the pipeline right now in the form of NBC's The Event, Blue Bloods on CBS, and The CW is branching out with Nikita. There are hundreds of answers to that question, but right now the cop dramas and suspense thrillers are king.
Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Lots of gore and sex, cannot ask for more from TV really ;-)
Some good comedies around at the moment. Very much enjoying The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother.
Looking forward to the return of Doctor Who! Very entertaining and an awesome writing team for this series.
I think NCIS LA is the best show at the moment, although NCIS and Law and Order are super shows as well.
I have recently been watching a show called "Gold Rush Alaska" and really enjoy it. It's about a team of maybe 7 people who have been working all summer in Alaska to find gold and if they can't find more than about 300,000 dollars worth of gold, their homes might be up for forclosure. It is now October for them and winter is coming in fast in Alaska. The season finale is this Friday and we will get to find out whether they hit the jackpot or not.
Justified, Fox wednesday night at 10PM.
Watch an episode and you'll be hooked!
I have a weekly laundry list of shows that I currently enjoy, which is surprising because I haven't like most of what has been on for years.
Harry's Law
The new Hawaii Five-O
NCIS
NCIS LA
CSI: Las Vegas
and round the week up with Spartacus: Gods of the Arena
My husband like Being Human and The Cape.
"The Big Bang Theory" or "V" or when it comes back "Dexter"
I think I would have to say that the best show at the moment Is Dexter. I love the darkness and the subtle humour. The show keeps me on the edge of my seat as I never know where the plot is going.
I am really enjoying watching 'The Big C', which has recently started showing in the UK. It manages to combine great poignancy and humour.
No doubt the best television show on at the moment is Supernatural.

Over the years I have enjoyed South Park, (It took me a while to get used to the graphics,) The Simpsons, American Dad, The Hill, Drawn Together, Family Guy and others because that writing is so damn good.I don't watch crime shows, but my guess is some of the writing is clever and well constructed...
