What's the best thing to do during rainy days?
Its been 4 days raining and I can't figure out what's the best thing to do. I've done watching movies and etc and I still find it so boring. I wouldn't go outside either cause its raining.
pick up a pencil and draw a picture of the rain, or write a hub about rainfall; watching movies I think will make it worse.
Spend time with friends indoors or take the kids to something that provides indoor entertainment.
Sleep or read a good book! I like the sound of rain. It is one of the beauties of nature. It is like music to my ears.
1. Read a good book or magazine
2. Write
3. Phone someone you haven't had time to talk to recently.
4. Make lists (shopping, to do, ideas)
5. Add musc to your MP3
6. Clean your house or apartment
7. Slip in a DVD and exercise to it
8. Have sex if you have someone to do that with (should be #1).
9. Clean out a closet or drawer and do 1 a week after that.
10. Give yourself a pedicure and/or manicure
11. Deep condition your hair
12. Facial
13. Pack up all clothes/purses/shoes/belts that you know you will never wear and take to your local Goodwill or thrift store.
14. Color in a coloring book........very therapeutic and they have cool ones for grownups
15. Start your Christmas gift list
16. Make Christmas presents and put them away
Is that enough lamsergell? All of these suggestions are based on the assumption that you are a female. If you are a male, ignore all except #1, 2, 5, 6, and 8...............hahahaha!
I like to stay indoors with friends. Usually, we cook, watch TV - just spend time together.
Chance to write more Hubpages articles. I have a lot of Hubs in draft that I didn't have time to finish.
two favorites: watch an old, black and white movie which opens with a scene of a mansion, at night, in a rainstorm.
the other, readimg a mystery novel with the same opening scene.
I would do something productive.
I can do like fixing up stuffs in the house. Or re-paint the house to make it looks better.
Packing the house to remove clutters. Restoring damage stuffs in the house.
There is always plenty of things can be done inside the house and now will be the time to get it done.
Play Starcraft 2 of course. But also rainy days are also great days to work on your equipment if you are an outdoors person so that when it is time to go outside and enjoy the nice weather you are not stuck in the garage prepping your gear.
Lay in bed listening to some acoustic guitar.
Long bath.
WRITE.
Have coffee and make cookies.
Sit in the rocking chair in a blanket on the porch watching it all roll in.

I thought it would be uplifting, to hear remarks about the best thing in our day...or any day.For me, I reached a new goal at work, I'm going out to dinner with Hubby and Middle Son, we'll eat burgers and listen to some live music....and it's a beautiful day, even if I am in Florida. ...
