Absolute waste of time on their part. It is supposed to be a true film but nothing in the movie happened that could not be done with smoke and mirrors and the ending was so unbelievable. It felt like the Blair Witch met up with daytime soaps.
Honestly, I saw this film last night. IT WAS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MY MONEY EVER. Yes, so bad I had to capitalize that.
It was not scary one bit. Even if you wholeheartedly believe in ghosts/demons, this was a waste. Poltergeist was more disturbng than this.
The Exorcist is a classic, and should not be compared.
Just another faux, documentary with a shaky camera all hyped up by the media.
Just puts a nail in the coffin for modern American horror films-now crud.
Don't waste your time.
Thank you for the heads up . I had It on my to do list , but now I will wait for the DVD !
Aww really?? I guess just different opinions. i mean of course the movie doesnt deserve a grammy but it was scary fun, for it being cheaply made it better then some of those movies that coust millions to make. i guess thats why i appreciated it
I saw the movie last Friday night. It wasn't that scary at all just suspenseful at times. I agree with torimari, Paranormal Activity and The Exorcist should not be compared.
On a positive note, see the movie for fun. If you go into the movie looking to have a little scary fun, then you'll get a kick out of it. This movie is simple. No need to over analyze it.
I have yet to see the movie but am totally looking forward to seeing it...if it ever comes out in theaters NOT AT MIDNIGHT lol and eh I love horror movies but The Exorcist did not frighten me at all....
People are saying that it is really scary. But, I think those are the people who don't seem to watch a lot of horror movies. As for me, it wasn't scary at all. I am a horror movie buff so this was something I had seen before. They make a ton of movies just like this one.
oh darn my mind was set on watching this.... I thought it was going to be scary... I luv scary movies
The trailer made it look so gooooood. I was looking forward to it too. *sigh*
I appreciate the movie for what it was- decent entertainment with a slight 'scary' feeling to it. It was a little eerie at times but nothing too frightening.
Just kinda surprised one of the commercials for it actually show the last scene of the movie...hmmmmm
Seriously though, previews are meant to look amazing to get people into the actual film. I guess I can see where some people would find it creepy, but I laughed the entire time. It was slow, annoying, and funny.
It was not supposed to be a true film. Nothing ever said it was.
All made up.
They tried to make it look real, but never said it was or based off anything.

Being a movie buff and having a stone cold heart when it comes to horror movies(I barely flinch)I was pleasantly surprised however to be creeped out by this flick.Hours after watching the movie....I was literally up in the middle of the night..beginning to hear things, and I could not believe I was...

What is the scariest movie you have ever watched? And what about the film gave you goose bumps?
by Tim Mitchell 9 years ago
Are children more sensitive to paranormal activity?Or, are they simply more aware of their conscious activity presuming they have compared to an adult less sub-conscious activity.

I don't know what it is . . . I usually find a movie that is recommended by a friend that will break me.I, to this day, cannot find a horror movie that actually makes me scared. I'm not even a jumper. I guess I'm just too good at knowing it is not real, which is why I tend to gravitate to the ones...
