I like many different kinds of music but my favorite genre will always be heavy metal. No other music out their gives me the same feeling when i listen to it. Metal music has an empowering feeling that it gives off so naturally, I've always found a sort of scene of belonging with metal. In dark times of my life, this music was the only thing that really let me know that i wasn't alone in this world, that theirs something larger than life itself. I truly believe that metal fans and musicians are more devoted to their music than any other genre.
I like all kinds of genres, but the mostly like the rock genre. Nothing that is hard, like death metal. Some thing that is softer, like alternative rock. Music is changing and is not what it used to be. Genres like rap and rock are mixing to create some thing new and fresh.
I love metal of all kinds- death metal, thrash metal, and power metal are my favorites. l like this music because it is extremely powerful and surprisingly diverse, it also has more complexity and artistic value (to me) than many other genres.
My favorite music is probably blues, but I also love Americana, rock, country, bluegrass, zydeco and I try to remain open to all genres. I love seeing live music and discovering new artists.

Rock 'n' roll didn’t just emerge out of an abyss of awesome- it has its roots like any other musical genre. Starting in the late 1940s, the upbeat Chicago style blues began to fuse with African American R&B rhythms to create something totally new and provacative. Some of the earliest rock...

Ever since its amplification in the 30s, guitar has been heard in Jazz, Rock + Roll, and early R+B (it was already the focus of Blues and Country musics). But something happened in the 80s that started in the late 70s. Guitar was...
