Mushroom picking. I love walking in the forest looking for mushrooms.

I used to love doing this when we were in Southern Indiana.  They are so tasty.  Now, I just love walking in the woods experiencing the change in the season.

SOunds like fun! I've only fished a few times and all in summer.  But I bet this is the perfect season for true fishers.

Very true! And even more than one day when you add in time for carving, roasting pumpkin seeds and baking a pie smile

I cross mountain ranges by foot or do long bike trips on the road to any random new destination.

I really like the cool Fall weather, however I can't stand the thought of raking all of those dead leaves up. smile

I love sitting around a warm bonfire at twilight with a chilled glass of white wine.

Definitely an important fall task - but I doubt it will ever be my favorite, no matter how necessary it may be!

Bike riding. I love seeing the seasons. The cool weather after a very hot summer. It's soothing and helps me take a break to focus my mind.

Sounds very relaxing! (In the soothing sense - I know cycling can definitely be hard work! Especially if hills are involved)

I don't have the motivation to cycle like my father. He does marathons and I just joy ride. Why work out outside of my home when I can enjoy a 30 minute workout in front of the TV? Bike riding is purely relaxation and to help me focus.
