If you saw someone famous would you ask for their autograph?
If you saw someone famous, like a movie star, sports star, tv celebrity or musician, would you approach them and ask for their autograph or for a photo? or would you try to take a photo without them knowing?
No, I go out of my way to avoid the cult of the celebrity. Why feed their egos?
Absolutely not. I'd smile and nod at them, as no one on the planet is any more or less worthy of respect than any other.
No. They deserve their privacy and what good is their autography anyway? I actually think its a bit silly to ask for someone's autograph!
Most likely no. When I was kid I probably would have. That kind of thing is done primarily to (prove to other people) that you met the celebrity. I'd much rather have a normal conversation with the famous person and be on my way.
p.s. I wouldn't give them my autograph either. :-)
Probably not. I am not excited by celebrity. I would only do it for my teenage daughter who has her favorites. She's still mad that I said hello to Justin Timberlake while waiting to meet a friend for lunch at a Country Club and didn't ask.
When I've seen someone famous I haven't approached them. I'd like to think I'd sneek a photo, but probably would be too shy to do so.
