   What makes actress Gabourey Sidibe considered to be the ugliest/least attractive actress in
   
   Hollywood?
   After receiving accolades for Precious, many considered her to be an acting accident.  Howard Stern indicated that Ms. Sidibe was a one-hit wonder and no other producer/director would want to cast and/or hire her for future projects.  One well-known actress exhorted Ms. Sidibe to give up acting because she was too ugly and not Hollywood material.  People who looked like her really did not enter entertainment as their chances of success were extremely few and very, very far between!

   To answer your question of what makes actress Gabourey Sidibe ugly/least attractive is that according to Hollywood's standard (and health-wise) she is obese (so she automatically unattractive). I'm sure you noticed, but Hollywood favors hot, white, blond, tall, pretty thin actresses. And even if you are not tall, blonde or white and its not a race thing, you still have to be thin. Hollywood has different categories of what is considered attractive. What makes Gabourey different is that she's not curvy (like Adele) or cute chubby/fat like (Melissa McCarthy, Rebel Wilson). The women I mentioned are what Hollywood accepts as beautiful (beyond the thin body size). Also who have you known or met that says WOW Gabourey is soo sexy/hot!!! I certainly don't hear that at all. Lastly if she had more roles and more media exposure, perhaps people will come up and defend and stick up for her more. BTW i don't think she is the most ugliest/least attractive actress. BTW I am not being mean, I am just being honest

      NO ONE considered Gabourey hot at all!  In fact, she is considered quite the opposite.  She is considered quite ugly to say the least.  Howard Stern considers her to be quite a monstrosity!

      Wow, I'll definitely have to tackle this topic in a future hub, so I won't say too much for now.  However, I will say that I wouldn't take Howard Stern's advice on anything, as he usually misconstrues a lot of the facts, and he's an idiot. Period

   She's really not that unattractive, but she should consider losing weight. I have seen this story thousands of times, not just with others but within my own family. It is dangerous to carry that amount of weight. It comes with other health issues. She seems to brush it off, but it has to be monitored. If not, it can lead to major problems, even an early death.

      Ms. Sidibe is simply not attractive.  She is one of the least beautiful actresses in Hollywood.  Even if she loses weight(I hope so for her health and well-being), she would STILL be UNATTRACTIVE!

      I am VERY SECURE, Gabourey is just one UGLY woman, that's all. There's NO way that Gabourey would be considered to be beautiful.  Gabourey is THE UGLIEST actress in Hollywood. Sarah Jessica Parker is a 10 besides her!

      You know, the only reason Sidibe is considered "ugly" by hollywood standards is because society and media brainwash you people into thinking only their version of beauty is acceptable in society, when in reality beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

   I don't think she is ugly at all, but I agree she should lose weight, which would be helpful for her health and appearance. I should point out the fact that she has name recognition and success already indicates that her weight has not got in the way of her career. Shelly Winters was another actress who achieved stardom despite being overweight.

   I like her as an actress, and her looks don't contribute one way or another to that opinion. But to be totally honest, it is difficult for me to have an opinion on whether she is physically attractive or not. And this is simply because the morbid obesity has contorted her natural features so heavily. She is so young and I sure hope she can lose that weight. I'd like to think she has many, many years of success ahead of her!

   While I don't find her attractive at all, I'm sure she's not the "ugliest" actress in Hollywood. There are some ugly actresses, they just happen to be skinny. I think the ugliness is more on the obesity as it is just not "accepted" in Hollywood. Jennifer Hudson was a big girl, they said she would never make it singing, she lost the weight & look at her now.

      Yes, JH was overweight but she was curvy and pretty while Gabourey Sidibe is NOT!  Hopefully, Ms. Sidibe WILL lose weight but she will still be unattractive.  Let's face it, Gabourey ISN'T pretty in the slightest!

   She may not be the most attractive thing to come down the pike but she's obviously carved out a niche for herself. (And she's probably got every "sassy fat friend" role in Hollywood locked up for the next decade or so.)
   
   Looks aside, she's great on FX's "American Horror Story."

    She may be a little overweight but she has a beautiful smile, pretty eyes and nice hair.  I really don't watch television that much so I don't know how she is as an actress.  But I would like to know which actress exhorted her and I will boycott her.

       I just watched her on AHS and love her acting.  If she did lose weight-I agree more than a little-she would be very pretty.  She should because she is at high risk heart disease diabetes.  I know old post.
