In recent news, Pedro Pascal recently posted on social media comparing Trump supporters to confederates during the Civil War, and Nazis.  No joke.   For those of you who don't know, "The Mandalorian", is a TV show on Disney Plus, that features a character simply called the Mandalorian, as the story takes place within the Star Wars universe sometime after "Return of the Jedi", but before "The Force Awakens."

Although there's been declining interest in the Star Wars ip over the years, the non anthology films of the last trilogy still grossed over a billion dollars each, with the first one making over 2 billion dollars if I'm not mistaken.

The first season of the Mandalorian last year was a critical success for Disney, as it helped serve as "The Show" to watch on their new streaming service.  However, this season they've been struggling a bit, as there wasn't a lot of promotion for this new season for some reason.  Plus, there's been a lot of behind the scenes drama involving some of their other stars, and Pedro allegedly quitting the show because he feels he should be able to show his face more to promote himself in the show.  Again, there's been a lot of behind the scenes drama these days with the "Mandalorian", but Disney or anyone else working there has yet to confirm or deny most of it, so take what you just read with a grain of salt.

However, Pedro Pascal, the leading star of the show, and the Mandalorian himself, has recently compared every Trump supporter to Nazis on his instagram, but he deleted the post sometime afterwards; no reason given as to why.

Here's an article link to know more:

Assuming you read this article, what are your thoughts?   Do you think Pedro Pascal was in the right for saying what he said?  Or do you think he's in the wrong and needs to shut up?  Please discuss.

For me personally?  I think given how financially strapped Disney is these days due to the pandemic that the last thing they need is to alienate over half their audience for their Star Wars brand even more so than they've already have in recent years.   But that's just me.  What are your thoughts?
