      Hi Audrey!
So good to read your article after a long time. I agree that a child hears music in the mother’s womb. It’s believed that the child absorbs everything, which the mother reads, hears, or says.
A very well written, and informative article. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Pamela, for sharing this in the forum.

This article is informative and helpful to parents and parents  to be. Beyond that, it is beautiful and inspirational, offering the possibility that music will help our children develop into happy, purposeful souls. Thanks Audrey. Thanks Pamela.

Anyone with an aspiring singer in their family would do well to buy Audrey's book. She is the pro's pro, and her knowledge of singing would be invaluable to anyone hoping to further their singing career.

It is wonderful to know that babies in utero can hear their parent's voices and other sounds as well.  Cheers to playing good music for everyone's ears and psyche.  Thanks Pamela for sharing Audrey's work on this piece with us.  She is one who shares beautiful music with her students and the world.

I loved this article, and I hope Audrey is "listening" because I have a humorous story to tell about this very topic. I LOVE classical music and listened to it almost non-stop when I was pregnant (it was soothing and comforting for me). Fast-forward to my younger daughter, who was a very articulate 4-year-old. She detested the classics (and still does to this day). She explained to me that "she had been hearing them FOREVER mommy!" Yes, yes, she had.

Jodah, thanks for reviewing my article. I'm still learning how to navigate the changes recently made to HP.  Ah, well.

MsDora, thank you for this beautiful review. I want to help parents, grandparents, and caregivers understand the connection between mother and child. Actually, we all should understand this powerful relationship.  Every fetus deserves no less.

Dear Bill, you are kind, supportive and one heck of an editor. With your help, my book took form and a bumbling writer became an author.  Fragments of my life, sprinkled throughout each chapter, weaved the foundation for helping us all to appreciate and use our God-given voice.

    I am forever grateful.

This well-written article made me think about the days long ago when I sang just about every song I knew (and many songs I didn't know) to my child to calm her and make her sleep.

Chitrangada, thank you for your warm hearted welcome. It's good to be writing again.  How nice of Pamela to share my article. A mother's role during pregnancy is deeply important to the baby. It's a wondrous connection.  Thank you for contributing to my article.

Dear Peggy, I am so very grateful for your comments. Taking the time to read my article was a very nice thing for you to do.  As a nurse, did you tend to babies?  Just wondering.  Thanks again, Peggy.
