    Generation Celebration by Detektivbyrån.
They are the best folk-instrumental band I've ever heard. Unfortunately they've broken up.

big_smile, it actually is the tile PD. lol I just reread the post!

a song that's been in my head recently is an old one-  Behind Blue Eyes/The Who

my son was working on a new song and the opening chords sounded familiar. None of us could remember the song it reminded us of - then finally the words came back to me, and it was this song.

"If I Should Fall From the Grace of God" by the Pogues.  Old, but I just discovered it after having the tune catch my ear on a TV commercial for the Subaru Forrester.  You know, the one with a hockey-mom driving her kids around to hockey games and tournaments.

I just purchased Adam Lambert's Trespassing CD, and the song "Shady" was the first on that popped into my head. But another song that I can listen to repeatedly is "Speechless" by Lady Gaga.

    A long, long time ago...
    I can still remember
How that music used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And, maybe, they’d be happy for a while.
