   STILL PUTTING IT OFF...... the ironing board is up now, I am going to iron a pair of jeans so I can get dressed.  I promised myself that this morning I would come on here for 10 minutes, iron for 30 minutes then come back on..... done nothing but hub since about 9 it is 12.34...... beginning to think my husband has a point, I am in love with my computer...

      His enthusiasm for it did seem to wane as he hit his teenage years.      He doesn't live close enough anyway.     (Of course, I suppose I could do a "reverse-college-kid" type of thing, and lug a big bag of laundry to his place....      )

   I hardly have the time, but I do like it to a certain extent, it allows me to de-sress and I find it calming.  However, I'd rather take a walk, almost.  LOL

   good idea Eaglekiwi....going to do a bit of washing every day, and fold do whatever I need to do so I never have to iron again.....

   Seriously I used to iron everything , then my boys wore uniforms and I thought I would die ironing 12 white shirts every week.....well dummy me....
   I eventually quit and just hung them straight from the machine to a hanger ...drip dried or in the breeze on the line.
   
   Now those kids are all grown ,they dont iron , there girl-friends dont iron.........so why did I again?
   
   duh me actually I read this cool saying once
   
   I love housework , I stand at the kitchen doorway and sweep my eyes across the room. Perfect, easy peasy..

    My work clothes are all wrinkle-free.  I only iron them on the rare occasion that I need to look extra sharp (i.e. job interview) or alternatively, take them to the dry cleaners. 
    
    I absolutely HAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEE to iron.  For the record, I'm a guy and I do the laundry in my house, mostly because I have this thing about anyone else doing my laundry.  That, plus I'm extra careful with it so it doesn't wrinkle so I don't have to iron anything.  My wife likes to iron her own clothes, though.
