nope, and realy have no great desire to,... my great grandmother always spoke of fine french blood,.. but i know that my family tree is no different than a million others,... i am decended from a long line of two bit thieves and common working class folk who scratched out a living until they were burried in poorly marked graves,...
i also have a theory that todays geneology records that are being built with the help of the internet may well be the tools of the next generations genocide,... we are, through our own vanity in wanting to find famous or infamous relatives in our otherwise mundane past,... we are slowly building the geneolical blue print of an entire people,... our racial heritage will be a click away soon,... to those who would use it,...
makes me glad my family tree only goes back 5 generations to a half breed illiterate indian girl of 13 who was purchased by her soon-to-be husband from a wagon train,... she cost him a horse, and bore him 12 children,... without ever being able to read thier names.

I recently posted a hub with some general genealogy tips for beginners. I plan to post additional hubs that are more specific to my particularethnic lineage and the tools and resources available in that regard.
I have written a couple of hubs about it that you may want to check out:
Yes I have and I realized that this earth is just one eternal round. We need to know who we are to grow and develop. Caring about others is very important and caring about the people who worked hard to make our lives better is very important. I believe that someday we will get the privilege to meet our ancestors and I want to know about them so that I will know them and be able to thank them for all that they have done for me.
