Would a man, abused as a child, be fearful about marrying and having children?
He is 51 years old and in a relationship.
Even though us men are very good about locking our emotions into a weighted box and throwing them into the ocean, I think it's very possible for someone that's been abused to feel that way. In order to overcome that, they would probably need to have the type of relationship opposite of the one his parent's had during the time of abuse.
hopefully not. I would like to think that because of his abuse, he would not want the same for his children and would love and protect them at all costs.
