A few family members are my personal hero for different reasons; my grandmother because she was so caring and loving. And I would like to also say Myles Monroe is very inspirational as well.

my hero is mostly fictional characters. Like, I know the backstory of my favorite characters and their struggle and how they grow as a person. They are my role model. Sure, I find some people admirable but that's it. I never consider them my hero or anything.

My mom is my hero. She was an excellent role model for me. Growing up, I watched her stay strong and take care of us in the process. She has pushed me to go beyond what I could have ever imagined. She has always supported my decisions and allowed me to bump my head and learn from my mistakes. She has been my biggest fan and support system. She is my mentor, best friend, and educator.

My Hero would have to be my grandfather he is currently 95 years old and he was a farmer.  In his 95 years he has been through so much when he was just 8 he was running the farm all by his self while his daddy went away to work.  He taught himself how  to do the farming since his dad was never home and he farmed until he was 90 years old.  He has such wonderful and inspiring stories to tell and the things that he went through years ago was amazing.

My personal hero/es are my family. they were there beside me in midst of loneliness and grief. I considered them as my heroes cause they supported me, cared for me and love me without asking for any exchange. They let me live in this world and teach me what is right and wrong. Family' is a single word with many different meanings. ... Family has a special ring to it. Whether it's a mother and father or a single parent with kids, family means love. Surrounded by people who care about you, people who see what you're going through, who are there no matter what. Family is not being related by blood.

My hero will be a friend of my mother. When I was 6 I jumped into a rock quary that was filled with water. I didn't know how to swim. He saved my life. He went to get me and could not find me right away. It took 3 trys before he found me. I will always remember that day. No matter how old I get.

I can't say, hero, i can say, heroes. my personal heroes are my parents because we can get the answer from the question itself, the heroes are the persons who save us from the deed my parents save me from the deed and push up from down so my parents are my real heroes.

Maya Angelou would be my personal hero because she is like a Phoenix.
She suffered so much as a child and young woman, but overcame those travesties. She got her doctorate, wrote books, and became an inspiration for women of all races and cultures.

My hero is my wife. No doubt. Mother of 4 boys, physicist, always in action, always loving and smiling! An alive definition of the word "love"!

My mother. She survived terrible childhood abuse and grew up to become a considerate and giving person. She cannot walk past a homeless person or animal without helping. She gives and comforts. Sometimes I have to remind her to take care of herself because, in the heat of caring for eveyone around her, she puts herself last.

She's my best friend and I admire her intelligence, courage and humility. She'd be so embarrassed that I typed this! smile But I needed to name her as my hero.

Not sure I really have one, but would love to be able to step up and be my own hero at some point in life, through achieving my goals and becoming the man I'd like to be, right now that would look a lot like Armie Hammer (swoon) smile

My hero is Dada Bhagwan. He has helped me figure out who I really am and this understanding in turn allows me to remain unaffected no matter what difficulties come into my life and allows me to face those difficulties head on. https://goo.gl/B4uTzQ

Hi. First post on here. It's a little wordy. The terms SUV and truck are used interchangeably.

This may sound odd, but my dog is my personal hero.

A few weeks ago my kids needed me out of the house because they had school reports and projects to do. They're teenagers, just not your typical teenagers, so I could leave for awhile with peace of mind. Thibodeaux (the dog) and I road tripped out to Central Texas for a "total reset". It should be known that he's a little dog there's no water-friendly or sporting breeds in him (there's 5).. We have long conversations and I'm serious when I think that he understands English and full sentences.

So we arrived to a State Park out west of Austin. Just wanting to be outdoors, not with a tent or anything we set up camp. He went unleashed around the campsite, despite leash laws and all it took was me saying "just hang out right there". I learned about unadulterated trust from him.

After "setting up" camp we drove to the Falls for a 9 mile round trip, mid-level hike. He made it every step (again without a leash...lawbreaker!) and even had enough energy to bounce around in the SUV afterwards. That taught sheer happiness and perseverance.

We had lunch after returning to camp, meditated for a while and then went to the river. Total of 10 miles round trip and there was swimming involved! When we got to the river, a nice person that we met played with him and offered to carry him across. Not to be rude, I agreed.

When it was time to leave due to sundown, I told him "alright Thi, you are here...you are going there (pointing to the other shore). You'll do it and I'm only here to protect you!" He looked irritated at me and then proceeded to jump across some of the river rocks and off he went like he had done it a hundred times before. Big lesson in reiterating perseverance and another in determination.

When we got back we ate again, meditated around the campfire and went to "bed" when it started to rain. That had us sleeping in the SUV and Thibodeaux fell asleep at the top of my head on the pillow. Learned something about unconditional love and I got to see what undying devotion looks like.

It was raining all along our drove through Austin and he started whining and then all of a sudden there was a wretched smell in the truck! Reading him, I understood that it wasn't any fault of his, pulled over, cleaned it up and moved on. That's a whole lot of patience and understanding right there!

Stating the kids is easy and hard at the time. Love mine to pieces, but dogs teach a lot due to their quick maturity but permanent dependency for the basics.

I honestly have to say myself for being a self-taught artist with integrity for 45 years. On the outside my daughter starting to surpass me in arts, health and heart.

Strangely Jesse Ventura coming from the most corrupted business of pro wrestling and military seal. To a no hold bars of honesty, bravery and facing corporations corruption worldwide events with a knowing.  Showing how the brain connects to the backbone.
