   Do you spend quality time with your family?
   
   How do you manage to spend quality time with family? what are the ways to manage the same?

   If you met my family, you'd understand why I don't.   
   
   P.S.  They'd probably say that, if you knew me, you'd understand why they don't tell me when they're going to get together, anyhow......

   As far as my husband and our children, we try to eat at least one meal together everyday, and have a family night or day on the weekends.  The kids love hide-and-seek in the dark, grilling, and jumping on the trampoline together.  The kids actually request family day/family night, and on their own send friends away if we are in or about to start family time.
   As far as my siblings, aunts, uncles, etc., we have a yearly Thanksgiving gathering the last weekend of Oct or the first week of Nov.  It's an 8 hour drive for us, but we try to make it.  We also have a Christmas party every year, same location bc the majority of our family lives within a couple of hours of it.  We try to schedule week-long family reunions every 2-3 years at a fun place -- Grand Canyon, Gatlinburg, a cruise, Jamaica one year (didn't make that one). 
   My family is pretty big -- I have over 40 first cousins on my mother's side -- we have a family website, too -- kind of like a private Facebook.  We've had it for almost 13 years now.

   I do. We actually make our quality time. Busy as we are, we always try to do most things very quickly, so that we have some quality time together. It is often (a lot of week days, after work and before dinner) for instance that we have picnics in the garden with a lot of storytelling and singing... I am hoping that from now on we even have more, since before they were too little for these activities, but now they are starting to enjoy them. But again, we "make" our time, because otherwise it would just be running, running...
