If YOU were the favorite child in YOUR family, what would YOU want to say to your parents and
Favorite children exist but like the old adage children should be seen and not heard, the knowledge that one is a favorite or worst yet that you are NOT the favorite child should never occur.
Equality is important. Fairness should be our mantra. All children deserve to be loved.
As the Christmas lyric so appropriately states:
"God bless us everyone."
In multichild families, there is ALWAYS a FAVORITE child. The only way parents do not practice favoritism is to have an only child, pure and simple. Anytime there is more than one child, one child is going to be like more than the other child.
