What is the 3 things you feel is the most important to instill in your childs life or character?

Just thinking on the top of my head my 3 would be love of course, respect, and knowing of who God is!

Compassion, Loyalty, and Honesty... With those three things, they will go as far as their will takes them.

I wrote a hub about the 8 lessons we must teach our children. They're all important, IMHO, but the top three would be self-awareness (being responsible for their emotions), love and compassion. Here's the link:

love your family, cleanliness and work hard. These are the basic requirements for each of my child. Kids are tend to be dirty so they get sick easily as their immune systems are weak. Working hard to improve knowledge and capability for their sake, not mine.

This is a tough one.  There are many positive things that I aim to instil in my children.  With that said, I have to agree with you, a relationship with God, respect and love.

    Hei sassydee!
I would like to teach my child :-

    Give respect to elders,

    Always keep positive attitude
                  &
always follow your mind & heart both instead of your heart only.

These 3 mean a lot to me because I suffer from HIV and I just want my kids to show it to others as they do to me

Ability to love/care for others (human or animal), respect for the planet and its inhabitants and an open mind to other's beliefs or opinions.

It's good to see that you care what values your childs life. Honesty, Morale self-worth, and perserverance in all things. When my daughter was born one of the things I considered was treating her the way I would want to be treated as a human being, and all the lessons learned throughout my life so she wouldnt have to find out unless she chose to. But first and foremost, when God is instilled and His Will for your child to become their absolute best then everything else will naturally fall right into place.

Love for GOD, respect and honesty. Knowing and loving God first thing will mold them to be better individuals and help them differentiate which is good and which is not, not only for themselves, but for others, as well. Great question, sassy. Thank you. :smile Love and blessings. -Tonette
