    Why are popular kids mean

    I don't  get  it why are popular kids so mean what did us nerds or geeks or half  fashion girls do to the CCP girls (CCP means cute cool popular.) are they jealous mad are just shy and want to make friends get someone or what?

    For the same reason why the rich are. Its a status symbol that they think makes them better. That somehow they are actually above you in some sort of way.

    There is often a pecking order in elementary, junior, and senior high school. Many popular children because they are so well liked, consider themselves as THE ULTIMATE while others are their inferiors. read more

    I tend to think meanness and the sense of superiority is a learned behavior, just as kindness and tolerance are learned. I think if we look to the parents of children that behave like this, we will most often see the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree.

    Popular kids are mean because most of them want to jin the group and do what others do and the real mean kids are just raised that way, Mean kids have different characters depending  on how they are taught. It all starts at home with kid's behaviors parents have to see notice this  in their children, Sometimes children won't act that way at home and would only  behave meanly when outside the home. This kind of behavior is rude and  to make friends some kids will go to great lengths to fit into society.
