Let us make consensus about who should pay for the care of old people in old age homes. In my opinion, the fees for the care of old people should be given on a shared basis both by the government and the family of the person. I have a reason to explain my logic and for this I will first explain the different stages of human life. When a child is born, his/her parents take care of himself. They pay for the nutrition, clothes and medical costs for him. At that they are so excited to give the child a best life that they work very hard to arrange money for this and they don't think that the child will give them anything in return. They just have an affection in their heart and selfless bondage that make them dare to face the difficulties of life just for the sake of their child's life and it starts even from the birth of the child(as the mother dares to face pain to bring him in this world). After the child grows a little bit, there comes the question of his education. Although the governments these days are generous enough to provide free education(quality education) to every child born on their land, even then the parents would have been worried about giving costliest and most competitive education to their child. The parents wants to see their child in a good health and they are very cautious about the nutrition for him. After the education is over and the child gets a job and eventually gets married, the parents still seek opportunities to help him. Overall this was the story about what the parents do for their child. Now when the time comes for returning the gratitude that a child seek from his parents(like the education cost, nutrition or the medical care) they get nothing in return. My point may get rejected with the argument that the parent have responsibilities for the child. But I ask you : Do the child have no responsibility for the parents?
If the parents are bound with the affection then why not the child. They can pay for everything for the child but the child will not pay anything. This is not justified if we think the relation between then even as a general human being. Parents are not just for guiding them about right or wrong and the children are not for roaming, doing stupid things with the friends.
After this the matter comes for the government. I think a person works for 40 years on average in his life. He buys or sells thousands of things during his lifespan. In these transactions he pays thousands of dollars to the government directly or indirectly. Also the income tax and utilities Bill's are apart from that. The government also owes enough money to an individual that can give him food and shelter for the entire old age. I am not talking about getting Grant's from the government or family but I am talking about getting at least a portion of what the person has already given to them for his difficult time. Although it may seem mean or inhuman to someone but I think it is fair and human.
What is your opinion about that?

usually, we face this dilemma. In the repationship, boyfriend doesn't work , so his girlfriend shoud pay all the time they go out and eat somewhere. Or, boyfriend earns enough money , so his girlfriend completely doesn't care how much he spends and saves each month, and she doesn't even feel bad...
