   Why man should pay all the price in marriage???
   
   For an example, girlfriends' clothes ,dinner ,shoes ,furthermore,wedding cost,rent fee,pay for the house etc,we share the same opportunity,but why we should pay more price?

   In the United States it is an old tradition that the bride's parents pay for most of the wedding.

      Hi JThomp.......VERY old tradition.....this aside......it seems only fair then, that the groom's parents pay for the divorce?   Ignore me....I'm just in that kind of mood today!  LOL   I was mother-of-the-groom 3 times...and there are Zero divorces

      Yes, I agree...that IS awesome......one of my sons is going on 25 years.  What's even better, J,  is....they're all still happy and proudly in love.   My sons chose extremely well!    The girls did OK TOO!  LOL

   They don't. In my marriage, I pay for most everything. But then I make more than my husband. You might want to stand up for yourself. She should put just as much as you are putting into the relationship.

      I think who earn more who should take more money responbility ,who earn less who should do more housework ,take care of children etc

   I agree with with Iburmaster  You might want to stand up for yourself. She should put just as much as you are putting into the relationship. I am sure other people in your country have also made these changes. If it goes wrong, you will meet someone who knows better.

      There's still  fear in developing countries about money, politico-economic unrest, so young women, their families, soceity want to play it safe with a feeling from early on that the man provides for all. But not everyone is like that. Best wishes.

   I think this is very common in some of the cultures including in my country but I know there are other cultures that know the difference to that. It is just a matter of mindsets and it also knows some exceptions, rare of course but in some cultures it is totally different

      that's really cheap,bride price and wedding cost together about  $ 50,000 here,if my girl friend ask an apartment for marraige, my family should pay another $60,000 down payment

      That's not cheap for many people in my country, it's a developing one and it is only for the dowry, if you include other things it may go up to $ 15K but it depends on the economic classes of course

   In some traditions the men pay for everything in my case the man pays for everything,   Sometimes people follow their tradition or pay for  the price in their marriages according to their earnings of salaries.
