One question Dolores I have asked several of my friends.
All purpose flour is that Plain or Self raising.? I really get stuck on this one. My friends are not too sure either perhaps you could for once out us all straight. I think it's Plain am I right or wrong?
Hi, Gloshei - there are so many kinds of flour! All purpose is regular bleached flour. Self rising flour has baking soda added in. To substitute all purpose flour for self rising flour, just add one teaspoon of baking powder per cup of flour.
It is strange how we all have different words for the same thing.
